Project Overview

JR Mash Trading participated in the Nedbank 67 Logos for 67 Minutes (Nelson Mandela Day) initiative, where designers assisted small businesses with new identities. As a holdings company, they needed a logo that could communicate stability, professionalism, and growth. Our design stood out, earning a place in the top 10 logos of the competition.

The Challenge

The challenge was designing within the spirit of Mandela Day, creating something meaningful in a short timeframe, while ensuring the logo could serve as a lasting identity for a holdings company. Too abstract, and the design would lose clarity; too corporate, and it would fail to inspire. We needed a mark that was both functional and memorable.

The Impact

The logo gave JR Mash Trading a professional identity that resonated with both the competition judges and their business audience. Being recognized in the top 10 designs validated the strength of the concept and execution. Today, the brand carries a visual identity that communicates credibility and positions them for growth.
